Admission Procedure

Postgraduate Program

Master of Computer Applications (MCA)

Eligibility Criteria

(i) Passed BCA/B.Sc.(Computer Science) /B.Sc.(Information Technology)/B.Voc.(Software Development) or equivalent*

OR

(ii) Passed at least 03 years Bachelors Degree with Mathematics/ Business Statistics/Operation Research or equivalent etc. at 10+2 level or graduation level.

*The equivalence shall be decided by a committee constituted by Dean, USICT.

The applicant must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

Admission Criteria & Priority Loop

  1. NIMCET: Primary selection channel based on merit parameters.
  2. CET: If seats remain vacant after admission through NIMCET counseling on the basis of merit of NIMCET, the University will consider admission in MCA/MCA (SE) on the basis of CET.
  3. CUET#: The vacant seats after exhausting the merit list of CET will be filled through the merit list of CUET#.

Undergraduate Affiliated Tracks

Undergraduate Program

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA)

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for admission to the BCA program under GGSIPU, the candidate must meet one of the following criteria:

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* with pass in English (core or elective or functional). Mathematics or Computer Science / or any other subject related to Computer Science.

OR

Three year Diploma in a branch of Engineering from a polytechnic duly approved by All India Council for Technical Education and affiliated to a recognized examining body with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Admission Criteria

Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the CET. The vacant seats after exhausting the merit list of CET will be filled through the merit list of CUET#.

  • Section IA : English (code 101)
  • Section II : Mathematics /Applied Mathematics (code 319)
  • Section II : Computer Science/ Informatics Practices (Code 308)
  • Section III : General Test (code 501)
Undergraduate Program

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

Eligibility Criteria

Pass in 12th Class of 10+2 of CBSE or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate* and must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.

Admission Criteria

Admission shall be on the basis of the merit of the CET. The vacant seats after exhausting the merit list of CET will be filled through the merit list of CUET#.

Required Evaluation Mappings (At least One):
  • Section IA: English (code 101)
  • Section II : Business Studies (Code 305)
  • Section III : General Test (code 501) for General Awareness/ Logic and Analytical Ability
Undergraduate Program

Bachelor of Arts Economics (H)

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with an aggregate of 50% marks in 10+2 level examination from a recognized State and Central Government Board with English as compulsory subjects at 10+2 level.

Admission Criteria

Admission shall on the basic of the merit of the CET. The vacant seats after exhausting the merit list of CET will be filled through merit list of CUET.
